DailyObjects pool-in ride with Uber for their mutual love for Cities

With each new collaboration DailyObjects has offered a swarm of creative designs. Our recent collaboration with Uber bear similar fruits, DailyObjects has put in thought and came up with an exclusive illustration of cityscapes.

The modern poets and painters have drawn their inspiration from the cities. They have talked about their love affair with the city, something they live-in with; in their imagination.

Wordsworth while celebrating the city Westminster, in London wrote;

This City now doth, like a garment, wear
The beauty of the morning; silent, bare,
Ships, towers, domes, theatres, and temples lie
Open unto the fields.

We all have felt ditto for a city that just clicked with us. In the time of globalisation the world has turned into a melting pot, despite we still carry the ethos of the city we comfortably sync with. It could be a city you were brought up in, a city you went for a vacation to, a city where you got your first job and exposure to an adult world. It could be anything, any memory that makes you intimate with the city.

DailyObjects understand your emotion and the longing to express it!

Like T S Eliot; DailyObjects will take you on city ride!

When the evening is spread out against the sky
. . .
Let us go, through certain half-deserted streets,
. . .
Streets that follow like a tedious argument
. . .

Let us go and make our visit.
(Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock)

Our designers might have been reciting onto the same lines when they took us on a detour and showed us crisscross lanes, holding the city together like a cobweb. DailyObjects has mind-bogglingly captured your city streets on a miniscule canvas.

The illustrations on mobile covers have covered 8 exclusive cities including, Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Vizag, Chennai and Kolkata.

“For I have known them all already, known them all:
Have known the evenings, mornings, afternoons,”
(Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock)

While capturing the soothing evenings, silent nights and super active afternoons, we have the mesmerizing cityscapes and landmark with an illustrious quote.

This super cool mobile cover for Hyderabadis has a miniscule Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace and the Buddha statue straight from the city of Hyderabad and a quote to the illustration saying ‘Pearl of India’ (Fact check: Hyderabad historically was the biggest pearl trading center across the globe.)

Our illustrations also express gratitude to Uber for the easy rides we’ve taken. You remember last time when in an after office party you got super drunk and your friends booked Uber for you to reach home safe? And what about that day when you got tipsy at you friend’s birthday party and chose to take Uber instead of driving back. How do we know? Because we all have been there.
